UTB-TSC: Scorpions to compete in Northwood Spring Invitational

The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College women's golf team returns to action Monday in the Northwood University Spring Invitational at the Thorn tree Country Club in DeSoto.
Teams will play 18 rounds each day Monday and Tuesday.
Andrea Cadriel, Elizabeth Garza, Krystal Garza, Eneida Alonso and Pamela Lopez will participate for the Scorpions.
The tournaments will be the final tuneup for the Scorpions before the NAIA national qualifier tournament April 18 and 19 in Oklahoma City.
Because there are not enough Red River Athletic Conference teams to qualify a team to nationals, RRAC teams play with teams from other conferences to qualify a team and individuals to the national tournament.
