UTB-TSC: Scorpions men's soccer to hold evaluations

Evaluations for players wishing to walk on to the University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College men’s soccer team will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at REK Center Field.

Evaluations will be for high school juniors and seniors, as well as college students at UTB-TSC or another college or university. Prospective players should bring proper training attire, including shin guards and cleats. Water will be provided.

All participants must have taken a physical exam within the last 12 months and bring a copy of the physical exam to the evaluations. Participants must also sign a waiver during registration before stepping onto the practice field.

Interested players must have a grade point average of 2.0 or higher, must be a UTB-TSC student in the fall 2011 semester, and must have remaining eligibility through the NAIA.
