Around 2pm Friday afternoon Pederson construction workers operating an excavator near the corner of 12th and Jackson unearthed a pile of bones while laying a 24inch sewer force main line for PUB. Work halted until Jack Keller, of Southern Archeological Consulting out of Bay View, identified the larger bones as those of a cow and the smaller bones as possibly from a goat for dog.
