Strong rains move through Brownsville

A band of strong rains moved through the Brownsville area at this hour.
The scattered showers and thunderstorms will move north at 12 to 18 miles an hour into the Lower Texas coastal waters.
Rain amounts of up to an inch are expected with the showers and storm. Wind gusts of up to 35 miles an hour will also be possible.
Small craft can expect even higher winds.
