Traci Rhode gives up appeal to murder conviction
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Thirteenth Court of Appeals today dismissed the appeal of Traci Rhode, found guilty in 2007 of murdering her husband.
This followed Rhode's decision last month to file a motion to dismiss the appeal, the public record shows.
A jury in the 107th District Court found her guilty of shooting her husband Scott in October 2003. She has maintained her innocense, claiming that he shot himself.
She was given a 10-year probated sentence, Herald archives show. Her attorney Larry Warner could not be immediately reached for comment.
