What they said: According to Sgt. Juan Lopez, public information officer for the Brownsville Police Department, reckless drivers should be reported to the police.
“We would like for (citizens) to contact us because we want the roadways to be as safe as possible for everyone,” Lopez said. “If you see somebody driving recklessly get the license if you can, a description of the occupants and we’ll relay it to officers on the street.”
