The Texas Department of Transportation predicts delays of up to an hour near and on the Queen Isabella Memorial Bridge from today through Monday, as well as possible delays along Highway 100 from Los Fresnos to Port Isabel, said TxDOT spokeswoman Amy Rodriguez.
In order to make this weekend as safe and enjoyable as possible, TxDOT advises drivers to be patient, remain courteous, refrain from drinking and driving, avoid driving while tired, and as always, buckle up.
