The UTB-TSC Center for Civic Engagement has launched its online ballot for candidates in the March 4 primary today.
The poll is meant as a tool for voters and online readers to express their preference in the local and presidential races, including sheriff, district attorney, state representative, county commissioner precincts 1 and 3 and state district judges for Cameron County.
This is not a scientific poll, nor do the results affect the actual elections.
To vote, go to www.civicengagement.com or click on the link provided on this site. The poll will remain open until 5 p.m. on March 4.
The Center's Web site also offers an online voters' guide, with candidate and election information, including interviews produced with The Brownsville Herald.
The results of this poll will be published March 5 in The Herald.
