Free ID workshop for children Thursday
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Brownsville Police Department will be hosting a fundraiser at Gatti's Pizza Thursday and police officers will issue free ID cards to children.
A percentage of the proceeds made at Gattiland, 2100 FM 802, will go to buy backpacks and toys for the police department's annual toy drive. The food, fun and music start at 11 a.m. and run until 9 p.m.
Every child will receive an ID with their picture, name, date of birth, height and weight along with the child's right thumb or fingerprint.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Only one ID card will be issued per child.
Free face paintings will be done by Kool Smiles Dentistry.
