Passport fair today to be held at Southmost area church
Comments 0 | Recommend 0The Cameron County District Clerk's Office will be conducting a passport fair today from 4 to 8 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 2645 Tulipan.
Those wishing to apply for a US passport must bring a completed and unsigned application form, a birth certificate (preferably the long form) or a US naturalization certificate, a government issued ID and two passport-sized photos.
The cost for a passport book is $75 for adults and $60 for children. The cost for a passport card is $20 for adults and $10 for children.
The payment for the passport must be made by check or money order made out to the US Department of State.
There is also a seperate $25 application processing fee charged by the District Clerk's office, which can be paid in cash, check or money order
Anyone interested in applying for a passport is asked to call (956) 542-5142 for more information or to make an appointment.
