U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers discovered $90,000 in marijuana hidden in the tires of a GMC pickup at the Los Indios International Bridge.

Officers say Wednesday morning they sent Rosbel Garcia Lara, 31, of Valle Hermoso, Tamps., Mexico, for a secondary inspection. The drug dog 'Rooster' detected narcotics in all four tires of the truck. Officers say each tire contained metal compartments which held over 90 pounds of marijuana.

The drug had a street value of $90,000. Lara was arrested and faces federal drug charges.
