Don’t be cruel to yourself this weekend — head out to the 20th annual Elvis Fest at Little Graceland in Los Fresnos.
The groovy festival starts at 8:30 a.m. and lasts until 9 p.m. Saturday.
Simon Vega, who owns Little Graceland and was a friend of Elvis during his stint in the Army, said he expects around 500 people to show up, maybe more if the weather is good.
The event boasts live music, food and beverages and look-alike and sing-alike contests. But the crème de la crème are Elvis impersonators who come from far and wide to honor “The King.”
Vega said there will be rides for children, who get in free. Admission is $8 for adults.
Little Graceland also has a well-known Elvis museum. It’s only open from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday.
