Authorities arrested four Harlingen residents on charges of stabbing two brothers outside of a Brownsville nightclub.
Reynaldo Quiroz, 24, was arrested by U.S. marshals in Harlingen on Monday, Brownsville police spokesman Billy Killebrew said.
Ruben Alfaro, 20; Michael Flores, 18; and Rene Rodriguez, 19, were already in custody stemming from the July 12 stabbing of the Harlingen brothers in the parking lot of Chaparral Nightclub at the 1900 block of N. Expressway 77/83, he said.
Each suspect is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery and a count of engaging in organized criminal activity.
“The victims were brothers and were inside the nightclub when they noticed several subjects staring at them,” Killebrew said, adding that one of the suspects noticed that one of the victims was from a Harlingen-area rival gang.
The brothers were stabbed in the parking lot, he said.
The arrests are the culmination of a Brownsville Police Department investigation.
