Joseph Phillip Linck turned himself in to the Brownsville Police Department Tuesday following a raid earlier this month at the Paredes Game Room on Paredes Line Road.
Linck, 59, of Brownsville was served three warrants of arrest, charging him with keeping a gambling place, possession of a gambling device and promotion of gambling, a police statement noted.
The police department’s Special Investigations Unit raided the arcade at 344 Paredes Line Road on Dec. 13.
Police seized 47 gambling machines and more than $8,000.
His bond was set at $3,000.
A City Commission majority approved the eight-liner arcade in October.
Linck was not in the arcade when the raid occurred, but police linked him to the establishment.
According to police, the city issued a certificate of occupancy for the arcade in Linck’s name in November.
Attempts to contact Linck following the raid were not successful.
