Bailey to visit UTB today

The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley’s inaugural president Guy Bailey and UT System Chancellor Francisco Cigarroa will visit UT Brownsville and UT-Pan American campuses today.

Both plan to hold a question-and-answer session with faculty, staff and students.

Bailey and Cigarroa will visit the UTPA campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Student Union Theater and the UTB campus from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 pm.

The purpose of the visit will be to provide an update to students on administrative functions and day-to-day operations of both UTB and UTPA, officials said.
