Guilty verdict in flea market child death
A jury returned a guilty verdict against a Brownsville mother charged with criminally negligent homicide and endangering a child.
Olga Salazar was convicted for the death of her 4-year-old daughter Felicitas, who died inside a sport utility vehicle at the Brownsville Flea Market back in 2009.
The child died apparently while sleeping in the vehicle that was parked at the flea market. Salazar and her children worked several booths at the flea market.
