Valley Baptist offers free information on mental health
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Valley Baptist Inpatient Behavioral Health Services will be providing free information on depression, anxiety and other mental health problems as part of "Mental Health Awareness Day" today.
The new facility, which opened in September at 1 Ted Hunt Blvd, off FM 802, will provide handouts, informational booths, and a relaxation corner free to the public.
Valley Baptist therapists will also offer free information about nutrition, aging, mind and mood disorders for anyone over the age of 17. They'll also conduct free screenings for depression and anxiety for senior citizens 55 and older.
The "Mental Health Awareness Day" will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
