Police looking into Customs agent death
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Brownsville police detectives are investigating the death of a 35-year-old U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent found shot dead at his Brownsville Country Club home Saturday.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m., officers responded to a home on Villafranca Street after receiving a 911 call about shots fired in the area, police Sgt. Jimmy Manrrique said.
Police suspect the man suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The case remains under investigation Monday, Manrrique said.
