Dentists Who Care receives award
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Dentists Who Care, a Rio Grande Valley non-profit agency, has received one of three 2007 Meritorious Awards in Community Dentistry from the American Dental Association’s Council on Access, Prevention and Interprofessional.
The group was recognized for providing oral health care to the low-income children of the Valley.
The Community Dentistry Award honors programs that focus on improving oral health on the community level.
Dentists Who Care provides no cost dental care either through visits by the Mobile Dental Unit to elementary schools or community centers or through Valley Smiles Coupons for emergency care.
