Deputies search for two suspects in Cameron Park shooting
Comments 0 | Recommend 0Cameron County Sheriffs are investigating the Saturday night shooting of a Cameron Park man.
Johnny Salinas, 34, received at least two shots shortly before midnight as he walked to his home at 4819 Avenida Florencia, said Cameron County Sheriff Omar Lucio.
A deputy responding to a call of shots fired found Salinas lying in a pool of blood.
"Witnesses say a vehicle drove down the street and two males got off to speak with Salinas," Lucio said. "Then they said they heard Salinas shout out for his brother to come outside. Then several shots were fired and the two males fled the scene leaving Salinas."
The victim was rushed to a Cameron County hospital where he is listed in serious condition.
