BISD food services on display

The Brownsville Independent School District is giving people the chance to find out the truth about school cafeteria food. It might even be better than you remember.
From 5-8 p.m. Thursday, BISD’s Food and Nutrition Services Department invites the public to come sample its menu items at the Brownsville Events Center.
Come hungry. The annual Kool Food for Kool Schools Food Show is free and features all of the food items BISD serves in cafeterias across the district.
"Everyone is invited to sample our menu items and tell us what you think," BISD said in a statement. "We want your opinion."
