Comments 0 | Recommend 0
Face it, college costs are rising. But there are plenty of scholarships available for university-bound high school students.
The public is welcome to join the Brownsville Independent School District Guidance and Counseling Department to find out more about financial resources. Scholarship Night at BISD will be held at 6:30 p.m. today at the Central Administrative Building Auditorium, 708 Palm Boulevard.
Representatives from colleges, Valley businesses and other organizations will set up booths and provide information on a variety of scholarships, include university, merit-based, national, military and local scholarships.
