Paint-A-Can winners to be announced

Healthy Communities of Brownsville will pick the winners in its Paint-A-Can Project today at the Brownsville Farmers’ Market in Linear Park.
The contest, which challenged local businesses, schools and churches to decorate garbage cans, is designed to discourage littering and promote a more beautiful Brownsville.
This is the first year Healthy Communities of Brownsville has held a can decorating contest.
Winners will be announced at 11 a.m. and cash prizes of up to $100 will be awarded.
