Texan Lee Ann Womack, Joe Nichols to perform in McAllen
Lee Ann Womack, a Grammy-winning country singer from Jacksonville, Texas, will play a concert in Pharr later this month.
The show will happen 6 p.m., Jan. 20 at Jagz Entertainment Center. It’s an unplugged benefit concert for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. This marks Womack’s first show in the Rio Grande Valley.
Joe Nichols, a Grammy-nominated country singer from Arkansas, will play with Womack. Nichols has some history with the Valley. He was the first artist to perform at Dodge Arena. He opened for headliner Alan Jackson.
Tickets cost $10, and they will be available at Jagz, KTEX Studios at 901 E. Pike Blvd., and KTEX live broadcast locations, which will be announced soon.
