Dept of Insurance relocates assistance teams

The Texas Department of Insurance relocated three of its Consumer Assistance teams to newly opened Disaster Recovery Centers in the Rio Grande Valley that the Federal Emergency Management Agency established in response to Hurricane Dolly, the agency announced Tuesday.

A fourth TDI team remains in Pharr to assist consumers in the McAllen area.

TDI field staff is available at the following locations to provide in-person assistance to consumers, the agency said in a press statement.

Hours are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
