MISSION — Viewing for Staff Sgt. Bradley Espinoza will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Rivera Funeral Home on Conway Avenue and 19th Street.

Espinoza's body will be flown in to McAllen Miller International Airport at noon today.

Viewing will be all day tomorrow, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m.

The funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, south of Inspiration Road in Alton.

Espinoza — a Mission High School graduate — was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 12th Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division based in Fort Hood. He entered the U.S. Army in July 2002 as a combat engineer and has been stationed at Fort Hood since November 2002, according to a statement from Fort Hood.

The city of Mission authorities invite the community to pay their respects to the slain soldier to Conway Avenue at noon when the procession passes through there in its way to Rivera Funeral Home.
