NWS: Dangerous line of storms hitting the Valley

The National Weather Service Office in Brownsville has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Cameron and Willacy County.

The NWS says residents have reported four funnel clouds between the cities of Raymondville and Rio Hondo as this storm moves across the eastern Rio Grande Valley.

The storms, packed with high winds, thunder and lightning, are moving southeast at 10 mph.

Forecasters say the thunderstorms are capable of producing quarter size hail and wind gusts of 60 mph.

The National Weather Service says this is a dangerous line of storms.
