Cristina Adriana Tijerina and Robert Edward Boreaux III were married on Sept. 25 in an afternoon ceremony at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Armand Matthew officiated the Catholic Mass.
The bride is the daughter of Carlos and Cristina Tijerina of Brownsville.
The groom is the son of Robert E. Boreaux II of Harlingen and the late Janet Ortiz Martinez of Brownsville.
The bride was given away in marriage by her father, Carlos A. Tijerina.
Melissa Welker served as maid of honor. Analicia Mariela Garcia and Alejandra Ortiz served as flower girls.
Sean Megettigan served as best man and Joseph Mendoza served as ring bearer.
A reception immediately followed at La Cantera Events Center.
The couple will reside in Brownsville.
