Broadway Hardware shuts down second store
Comments 0 | Recommend 0McALLEN - First it was the Harlingen store and now locally owned home improvement chain Broadway Hardware is shutting down its North McAllen location, less than a year after big-box retailer Lowe's opened across the street.
The store will relocate employee's to the chain's four other area stores in South McAllen, Mission, Edinburg and Donna, said owner Tony Aguirre, Jr.
The store will be replaced by an unnamed regional chain.
The Harlingen store closed its door earlier this year.
