Ybarra-Rodriguez
Miriam Annette Ybarra and Vidal Rodriguez Jr. were married Feb. 19 in an evening ceremony at La Cantera Events Center in Brownsville. Rev. Juan Trevino of First Presbyterian Church officiated the religious double ring ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Henry and Raquel C. Ybarra of Brownsville.
The groom is the son of Vidal and Anita Rodriguez of Laredo.
Given away in marriage by her father, Henry Ybarra Jr., the bride wore a diamond-white designer gown embroidered with pearls and crystals on a square neckline with a chapel length train, crowned with a pearl and crystal encrusted wreath about her head, surround by an elbow length veil. The bride carried a cascade bouquet composed of white Casablanca lilies and fire and ice roses.
Corinna Elizabeth Ybarra-Arnold served as maid of honor and Alyssa Patricia Massey served as junior bridesmaid. Natalie Alyssa Arnold served as flower girl.
Carlos G. Rodriguez served as best man. Imagine Alexander Gonzales served as ring bearer.
A reception immediately followed at La Cantera Events Center.
The bride received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin and a masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Texas-Pan American. She served as Program Director for CPS for Cameron and Willacy Counties and is currently employed as the Risk Director for Child Protective Services in San Antonio.
The groom received a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&I University in Kingsville and a masters degree in Computer Information Systems from the National Defense University. He is currently employed as Chief of Application Development with the U.S. Department of Defense in San Antonio.
The couple honeymooned with a trip to Paris and London and will reside in San Antonio.
