GUADALUPE OCHOA TORRES
Guadalupe Ochoa Torres was born on Oct. 17, 1945, in Brownsville to Rodolfo Solis Ochoa and Amelia Guerra Ochoa. She entered into eternal rest on October 31, 2007, at the age of 62.
For more than 27 years Guadalupe O. Torres, dedicated her heart and soul caring for the elderly as a healthcare provider. When she was not caring for others, she loved creating arts and crafts.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie Torres, her mother, Amelia Ochoa, sisters, Oralia O. Guzman, Rosario Ochoa, and Lydia Cadriel, a brother, Ovidio Ochoa, 11 nephews and eight nieces.
Her father, Rodolfo Solis Ochoa and her eldest brother, Gilberto Ochoa, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a tribute in her honor at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 2, 2007, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A Mass of Resurrection will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2007, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1914 Barnard Road. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Michael Cadriel, Reymond Guzman, Marco Guzman Jr., Rudy Cornejo, Rogelio Mendieta, Kenneth Wallace, Thomas Sejud and Cean Garcia.
Floral arrangements may be sent but are not necessary to Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
