Abraham "AB" Longoria, 18, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Brownsville.
"AB" enjoyed playing basketball and being with his friends. He participated in various basketball tournaments. AB will be dearly missed by all his family and very close friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Raymundo Garza; great-grandfather, Sylvestre Garza Sr.; great-grandmother, Candelaria Garza; great-grandmother, Petra Robles; an uncle, Israel Longoria; great-grandmother, Guadalupe Duran Perez; and great-grandfather, Juan N. Guerra Cardenas.
He is survived by his parents, Graciela Garza and Arnoldo Longoria; brothers, Arnoldo Longoria Jr., Agapito R. Longoria, and Alexis Longoria; a sister, Ashley Ann Longoria; and other family members.
Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. today, Friday, May 1, 2009, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista.
A chapel service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista. Burial to follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Pallbearers will be Arnoldo Longoria Jr., Agapito R. Longoria, Alexis Longoria, Raymundo Garza, Emmanuel Garza, and Jose Manuel Longoria.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Funeraria Del Angel Buena Vista, cemeteries, mausoleums, and crematory, 125 McDavitt Blvd., Brownsville, Tx 78521 (956) 541-5400. Dignity Memorial Provider.
