Amalia Guerra De Leal
Amalia Guerra de Leal, 91, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at her Brownsville residence.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Modesto Leal Solis; parents, Alfredo Guerra and Eulogia Villarreal; sister, Angelica Guerra; brother, Andres Guerra; and a daughter-in-law, Juanita Leal.
Mrs. Leal is survived by her children, Evangelina (Aurelio) Pizaņa, Yolanda (Raul) de la Rosa, Gustavo Leal, Guillermo Leal, Eulogia (Santiago) Santos, Sergio (Estefana) Leal and Sylvia (Mario) Esquivel; sisters, Maria Guerra and Maria Engracia Paredes; 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held from 12:30 to 10 p.m. with a recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista.
Chapel service will be held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007, at Funeraria del Angel Buena Vista. Committal service will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.
Pallbearers will be Raul de la Rosa, Sergio Leal, Edgar Pizana, Mario A. Esquivel, Santiago Santos, Francisco Santos, Guillermo Leal and Cesar Esquivel.
