Iracheta-Rendon
Brenda Lee Iracheta and Robert Hiram Rendon were married on Sept. 4 in an afternoon ceremony at Christian Fellowship Church. Pastor Abel Torres officiated the Christian service.
The bride is the daughter of Ruben and Ofelia Iracheta of Brownsville.
The groom is the son of Griselda Rendon of Brownsville.
Given away in marriage by her father, Ruben Iracheta, the bride wore a white strapless gown with rhinestones on the bodice and a rhinestone tiara with an elbow length veil. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses with blue ribbon accents.
Araceli Zapata served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Ariana De La Garza, Claudia Cajiri, Dalila Kellogg, May Trejo, and Ruby Iracheta. Alexandra Salazar served as flower girl.
Daniel Garcia, Daniel Rosales, and Daniel Martinez served as best men. Groomsmen were Sergio De La Garza, MargaritoCruz, Daniel Blanca Jr., Feliz Ochoa Jr. and Luis Iracheta. Daniel Garcia served as ring bearer.
A reception immediately followed at Los Compadres Ballroom.
The bride is a graduate of Porte High School and a received a bachelors in English from the University of Texas at Brownsville-Texas Southmost College. She also received a masters in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Texas Pan American and is a certified rehabilitation counselor. She is currently employed as a vocational rehabilitation counselor for the Department of Rehabilitation Services.
The groom is a graduate of Porter High School and received a bachelors in Criminal Justice. He is currently employed at HEB.
The couple honeymooned with a trip to Corpus Christi and South Padre Island. The couple will reside in Brownsville.
