HUMBERTO HERNANDEZ

Humberto Hernandez, 62, entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Sunshine Haven in Olmito. Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his parents, Porfirio Hernandez Sr. and Lidia Sanchez; sister, Graciela Hernandez. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Robert Hernandez (Laura), Humberto Hernandez Jr. (Lisa), Linda Sauceda (Gary), Cynthia Hernandez; he leaves behind two brothers, Genaro Hernandez (Aurora), Porfirio Hernandez (Diana); two sisters, Lydia Rodriguez (Agapito), Narcisa Rosas (Rodolfo); also surviving five grandchildren, Kayla, Adam, Nicholas, Morgan, Meagan and baby Hernandez. Humberto will also be remembered by Hermelinda Hernandez (former wife) and close friend Victoria Salas. Visitation was held on Friday, May 1, 2009, at Guerra Funeral Home "Chapel of the Arch Angels" from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. A Chapel Funeral Service will be held today, Saturday, May 2, 2009, at Guerra "Chapel of the Arch Angles" at 10 a.m. Interment will follow at Rose Lawn Cemetery. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Guerra Funeral Home of Brownsville, 3955 Coffee Port Rd., (956) 544-1171.
