Juanita C. Gonzalez
Juanita C. Gonzalez, 81, entered into eternal rest surrounded by her loving family Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2007, at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Brownsville.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pedro E. Gonzalez; parents, Julio and Sofia Coronado; and a sister, Sofia Anderson.
Mrs. Gonzalez is survived by seven children, Pete E. (Elsa) Gonzalez Jr., Rolando (Sylvia) Gonzalez, Gloria (Joe) Rios, Yolanda Gonzalez, Ric Gonzalez, Carlos Gonzalez, and Hector (Tracy) Gonzalez; two sisters, Carmen C. Lopez and Lupita Arizmendi; eight grandchildren, one great-grandson, nephews, nieces, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 9 p.m. with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7:30 p.m. today, Friday, Nov. 23, 2007.
Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church. Committal services will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
The family expresses special thanks to Genoveva Zungia Castillo, Valley Care Home Health Services, Odyssey Health Care, Dr. Gumbel, and Dr. Sharma.
