Edelmiro Garza Cisneros

Edelmiro Garza Cisneros, 73, entered into eternal rest with the Lord on Monday, Nov. 12, 2007, in the evening at Valley Grande Manor. He was born on Feb. 12, 1934, in Rancho El Gomeno Matamoros, Tamps., Mexico.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alonzo Garza Lucio and Antonia Garza; his son, Edelmiro Garza Jr.; his brothers, Alonzo Garza Jr. and Guadalupe Garza; and his sisters, Maria G. Alaniz, Bertha G. Alaniz, and Felicitas Gonzalez.

He is survived by his sons, Jose Garza, Carlos Garza, and Alberto Garza all of Houston, Texas; his daughters, Amalia G. Sagastegui and Rubi G. Loera both of Houston Texas; his ex-wife, Maria S. Garza; his brother, Jose Garza of Florida; and his sister, Natalia G. Solis of Brownsville. He also had many grandchildren, nephews and nieces, who will miss him dearly.

Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. with a holy rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at Delta. A chapel service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007, at Delta. Burial will follow at Guillen Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers are as follow, Juan Carlos, Alberto, and Jose Luis Garza, Mark Cheramie, Frank Vela, and Yuri Collins.
