What to include in your emergency kit

FOOD
- Non-perishable food
- Juice boxes
- Canned or prepackaged food: soups, vegetables, fruit cups, tuna, chicken, canned pasta dishes, peanut butter, jelly, bread, crackers
- Bottled water (one gallon per person per day). Have a two-week supply on hand
- High-energy foods: granola bars, energy bans
HOME SUPPLIES:
- Ice chests
- Paper plates and napkins
- Can opener
- Cooking and eating utensils
- Resealable plastic storage bags
- Camping stove
- Propane for grill
- Filled propane tanks
FAMILY SUPPLIES
- Diapers
- Baby wipes
- Baby formula
- Bottles
- Diaper rash ointment
- Prescription medications
- Copies of prescriptions
- Eyeglasses, contacts and hearing aids
- Toilet paper, paper towels, tissue paper
- Personal hygiene products: toothpaste, toothbrush, body soap, shampoo, deodorant
- Several changes of clothing
- Blankets, pillows, sleeping bags
- First aid kit
- Pet supplies: canned and dry food, litter, pet carriers, medications
- Photo identification
- Camera, film and digital memory cards
