Other College Sports Capsules: Arkansas' gymnastics team ranked No. 1
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas' gymnastics team is the top-rated team in the country for the first time in program history.
This week's GymInfo national rankings put the Razorbacks at No.1, tied with UCLA. The top five is rounded out with Utah, Nebraska and Oklahoma.
Coach Rene Cook says the ranking came the same weekend that Arkansas celebrated the 10th anniversary of the program. The Razorbacks defeated LSU on Friday in front of a crowd of more than 5,500 people in Barnhill Arena in Fayetteville.
In its national rankings by event, GymInfo also puts the Razorbacks at No. 1 in uneven bars.
The Razorbacks travel to Gainesville this week to take on Florida.

Arkansas-Monticello hires golf pro to lead program
MONTICELLO, Ark. (AP) — A Jonesboro pro golfer will lead the golf teams at the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Athletic director Chris Ratcliff announced Monday that Heather Wall will coach the men's and women's teams, beginning immediately.
Wall served as club pro at the RidgePointe Country Club in Jonesboro. She graduated from Florida Southern College, where she helped the Moccasins win the NCAA Division II national title in 2009 and finished as the national title runner-up in her junior season.
Wall played for two years on the Futures and SunCoast Tours. She won a SunCoast Tour event and placed second in another.
The University of Arkansas at Monticello is an NCAA Division II school.

Oklahoma St. heavyweight named Big 12 wrestler
STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State heavyweight Alan Gelogaev has been named the Big 12 Conference Wrestler of the Week for his performance in a pair of duals against Arizona State and Iowa State.
Officials announced Monday that Gelogaev went 2-0 over the weekend with a 6-1 victory over Arizona State's Levi Cooper and a 13-1 major decision over Matt Gibson of Iowa State.
It's the first time Gelogaev has been named wrestler of the week. The Moscow, Russia, native holds an 8-0 dual record and has scored 34 dual points. The Cowboys return to the mat for a match against North Carolina State on Friday.
