Kardashian event postponed
Comments 0 | Recommend 0A nonprofit event scheduled for July that was going to feature three stars from the E! Network show Keeping up with the Kardashians will be postponed until September and feature only two of the originally scheduled guests, according to the organizers.
Scheduling conflicts have forced the postponement of the Cooks, Cars and Kardashians event, originally set for July 18. It will now take place in September at the Harley Davidson Dealership in McAllen and feature sisters Kim and Khloe Kardashian, said Tammie Trejo, founder of event sponsor The Pride Foundation.
Eldest sister Kourtney Kardashian will be unable to attend because of filming commitments, one of which includes her spinoff TV show Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, the girls' mother Kris Jenner told Trejo.
The Pride Foundation, which raises funds for lower income residents, said they have been working with Jenner to arrange the visit since March. Negotiations between the foundation and the Kardashians have been confirmed by Kim Kardashian's publicist, Noelle Keshishian.
General admission to the event will cost $5; VIP ticket prices have yet to be announced.
A foundation representative said they are still seeking sponsors for the event to offset cost of ticket printing and promotions.
The Kardashians became a household name in recent years thanks to their television show, which chronicles the life of the family.
