OMAR LUCIO, 74, (D)

Family: Married with four daughters, a son and twelve grandchildren.

Occupation: Cameron County Sheriff.

Political History: Elected sheriff from 1997-2000. Re-elected sheriff in 2004 has held office since 2005-present.

Affiliations: Chief of Police Association, member; Texas Board Sheriff�s Coalition, member; FBI National Academy, alumnus; Knights of Columbus, member.

Education: San Benito High School, Class of 1955; Texas Southmost College, graduated with Associates of Arts, Class of 1955; Pan American University in Edinburg, Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology, Class of 1976; Reynaldo G. Garza School, law degree, Class of 1988.

JOE A. CISNEROS, 49, (R)
