Juarez-Barreda

Monica Mae Juarez and Jess Barreda were married on Dec. 4 in an afternoon ceremony at St. Catherines Parish in Morgan Hill, Calif. Father Dan Derry of St. Marys Parish officiated the Catholic Mass.

The bride is the daughter of Allen and Cindy Juarez of Ceres, Calif.

The groom is the son of Angie Barreda Cocke of San Jose, Calif. and Jesse Barreda of Brownsville

Given away in marriage by her father, Allen Juarez, the bride wore a strapless, a-line white satin gown with elbow length white satin gloves and a rhinestone tiara.

Vanessa Pena served as maid of honor and Shereen Cambra served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Christine Jeffrie, Beth Del Rosario, Alana Wilson, Inez Diaz, Clarissa Aguirre, and Nikki Barreda. Celine Alise Pea served as flower girl.

Justin Cambra served as best man. Groomsmen were Gene Roberts, Brian Jeffrie, Ray Dodd, Paul Juarez, Joseph Juarez, Nat Perez, and Jacob Barreda. Jesse Angel Barreda served as ring bearer.

A reception immediately followed at Willow Height Mansion in Morgan Hill, Calif.

The bride is a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and Evergreen Valley College. She is currently employed at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, Calif.

The groom is a graduate of Live Oak High School and West Valley Junior College. He received a bachelors degree in broadcast journalism from San Jose State University in San Jose, Calif. and is currently employed at VISX in Santa Clara.

The couple honeymooned with a trip to Oahu, Hawaii and will reside in San Jose, Calif.
