Left to eternally treasure her memory are her beloved husband of 46 years, Johnny Cooper of Brownsville; their children, Carolyn (Jose Luis Ramirez) Cooper of Brownsville, Johnny (Elena) Cooper Jr. of Brownsville, Audrey (David) Fuller of Salado, Texas and Elsa (Edgar) Cooper of Brownsville; 11 grandchildren, Gil Gonzalez, Christina Indridson, Alan Cooper, Jenna Cooper, Mea Fuller, Samuel Fuller, Brettney Fuller, Lauren Cruz, Joseph Cruz, Shannon Cruz and Yaquelin Mujica; a brother, Benito (Eloisa) Juarez of Brownsville; two sisters, Minerva (+Jose) Almeida and Juanita (Reynaldo) Aguinaga, both of Brownsville.
Visitation will be from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. with recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, April 29, 2009, in the West Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment will follow at Buena Vista Burial Park.

Manuel Federico Ramos, 64, entered into eternal rest Monday April 27, 2009, surrounded by his loving family.
He was a native of Villanueva, Texas and was a lifelong resident of Brownsville, Texas.
Manuel was a machine operator for the Brownsville Navigation District at the Port of Brownsville and retired after 38 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 37 years Juanita Saenz Ramos and a brother Arturo Ramos.
Manuel is survived by a daughter, Norma Linda (Bernard) Ramos-Koosed; a son, Ricardo Manuel (Delia) Ramos; four brothers, Conrado Saldivar, Reynaldo Ramos, Federico Ramos and Juan Ramos; two sisters, Herminia Gutierrez and Herlinda Lopez; one grandson, Ricardo Manual Ramos Jr.; numerous nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Visitation and a holy rosary were recited on Tuesday, April 28, 2009.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. today, Wednesday, April 29, 2009, at Garza Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Committal services will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.

Jesus Cerrillo, 87, passed away to be with our Lord on April 27, 2009.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Concepcion Cerrillo and Maria Alonso Cerrillo; brothers, Anastacio Cerrillo and Juan Cerrillo; and sisters, Ofelia C. Christman, Josefina Kuhn and Teresa Gonzalez; and son-in-law, Silvano Garza.
Survivors include his wife, Maria E. Cerrillo of Brownsville; children, Jose (Noemi) Cerrillo of Brownsville, Guadalupe (Dionicio) C. De Leon of Harlingen, Minerva (+Silvano) Garza of Brownsville, Mary C. (Jesse) Anguiano of Houston, Sylvia C. Moreno of Brownsville, Lydia C. (Joe) Olvera of Brownsville, Olga C. Serrano of Brownsville, Oscar (Maria) Cerrillo of Brownsville and Eva Cerrillo of Brownsville.
Granddaughters, Maricela C. Garcia, Isabel C. Mosleh, Wilma Ayala, Jessica Cerrillo, Debra Perez, Cynthia Serrano, Sonya Garza, Nicole Anguiano, Velma Rodriguez, Rose Marie Moreno, Nelly Ochoa, Veronica Olvera, Selena Cerrillo, Ruby Cerrillo, and Cecilia Maeler; 38 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. Special niece Olivia C. Tinoco and numerous nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2009, with the recitation of the holy rosary at 7 p.m. in the East Chapel of Darling-Mouser Funeral Home.
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2009, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, E. Sixth St and E. Elizabeth St. in Brownsville. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be his grandsons, Javier Cerrillo, John Bazan, Alfredo Serrano, Joe Anguiano, Jesse Anguiano Jr., Frankie Moreno, Desi De Leon, Jose Cerrillo Jr., Joseph Cerrillo, Danny De Leon, Anthony Anguiano, Dionicio De Leon Jr., and Henry Leo Garza.
Honorary pallbearers will be Sammy Garza, Steven Serrano, Eddie Serrano, Oscar Cerrillo Jr., and Andres Cerrillo.
