Book drive for children

The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College Center for Civic Engagement, the Brownsville Adult Literacy Center, the Brownsville Herald, and Healthy Communities of Brownsville are organizing a book drive, November 1-December 18, 2009.
The CCE will gather the booksn Dec. 18 and will assist UTB-TSC professors and students in setting up Brownsville lending libraries and book corners at Su Clinica Familiar, Tip of Texas Family Outreach, and five learning centers of the Brownsville Housing Authority.
